Biography: Fiona was born in New York in 1977 to singer singer Diana McAfee and actor Brandon Maggart, Fiona Apple began playing the piano at the age of eight and tarted composing her own songs just four years later, after the separation of her parents and her own brutal rape. At the age of 16 Fiona traveled to LA to visit her father and made a demo tape. Sony Music signed her in 1995. Fiona is a vegan. And has done numerous things with animal rights groups such a peta. |
