Biography: Kevin Nealon, formerly one of the stars of NBC's long-running late-night comedy series, "Saturday Night Live," (SNL) has been making people laugh since he began performing stand-up in the late '70s. Kevin had the longest SNL run of any of its cast members. Kevin played on Saturday Night Live from 1986-1995. During that time, he was lauded for his impersonations of such personalities as Sam Donaldson, Larry King and Jay Leno, but he is perhaps best known for the twisted wit of his critically acclaimed character, "The Subliminal Man." He has recently done small quest spots on shows such as Dharma and Greg and movies such as Wedding Singer and Bar Hopping. But beneath all of the laughter lies someone who is very serious when it comes to respecting animals and their rights. A devoted animal activist, Kevin and his wife, Linda, work tirelessly to protect the rights of animals. When not performing, Kevin has been known to lend his celebrity to fundraising events for numerous animal organizations including the Amanda Foundation, the Washington Wildlife Protection Association , The Ark Trust's Genesis Awards and also Meat out. Kevin is also a vegan.The animals are lucky to have him on thier side. He's a very talented man. |
